Siamese sometimes have this and maybe other breads. but it could just be an old injury

My friend's kitty Sasha has a 90 degree bend in the bottom of her tail. They say her tail was probably broken and healed that way

Artemisia's tail is crooked at the very end. You can't tail unless you are petting her cause she is so fluffy.

We have a crooked-tail in our clowder of 6. Why it is crooked we don't know, but it is rather handsome. I would say cute but the ManCat that owns it would be insulted.

I'm not sure of the origins, Sachie-san, but my mom's blue-blooded pedigreed Siamese boy had kink tail and cross eyes. Those are common in the Siamese lineage but are looked upon as "defects" ;( (not by us, though!)

Many kittehs , weather pure bred or mixed breed, are born with kink tails in varying degrees. Some you can barely find with your fingers and some are easy to see by sight.

My cats have crooked tails since they are young. I think it's perfectly normal and fun to play with :p

My youngest cat, Black Rose, hs a bit of a crook in his tail. He's never been injured so I can only imagine that some cats are just "built" that way.

I have no idea why, but it's such a cute tail.

The older type of Siamese had that crook in the tail, but now it is not the breed standard. The story was a Siamese Princess went to bathe in the river and put her rings on her kitty's tail. He wanted to keep them safe so he crooked the tip!

my kitteh gomi has a little crooked tail since birth but i'm not too concerned. idk if it's an injury but i have a feeling that some cats are just born that way.

some humans have a birth deficiency where spines "close" differently at the bottom than normal, but it's fine and nothing to worry about. kitties and kinked tails are the same way :)
