Goma Is Shy For No Reason

SACHIE: Since when you are shy Goma!?
GOMA: Since foreverz!
SACHIE: well you are man cat model, you shouldn't be shy!!
GOMA: You is leape me alonez!! You go way!
Junie Update: I talked to Lee and she hasn't made up her mind yet...she needs some more time to consider everything. First thing she will need is to call the place which makes Junie's injections. Some of you suggest to try just few injections to see if it is making her better, unfortunately, the effectiveness of injection will not be determined with few injections... it normally takes years to see the results... so we have a long way to go if Junie is going to get injection treatments... Lee told me that she will be happy to give her away if someone in desert climate can adopt her, and afford her medical expense...I am not sure this will happen but we are hopeful... I will let you guys know when I hear more from Lee!! Thanks for all your help!!!

What an excrutiating situation to be in. Did you say injections are once a week or once a month? Ihave to have faith that if it is once a month for 150bucks we can raise that money.
Fundraisers, auctions. Thoughts? Anyone else in?

With all due respect to everyone, if it is going to take years to see if a treatment is gonna help, our suggestion is to see another vet, at least for a second opinion.

I think you guys should advertise on the CB for someone in a desert climate to adopt Junie and if possibe, get another opionion as suggested above...Best of luck...J

If Lee is willing to give Junie up, maybe Best Friends would consider Junie for their Guardian Angel program? They take on special needs animals. Plus they are located in southern Utah, where it is dry and desert-like.

Goma, you know I love your belleh!

I agree with everyone else that there should probably be a second opinion for sweet Junie. If a dry climate is what she needs, perhaps you can check out some of the programs people are recommending.

If only we were still in the dez, we would have the climate AND plenty of room for her, plus an excellent doctor. STRONGLY URGE to contact Best Friends. Junie would be a poster kitten for their special-needs program. http://www.bestfriends.org

PS Sachie-san, there are also transport groups, on Facebook and elsewhere. You, or she, can input "cat transport in (location)" in your/her search engine and find additional that way; if Junie is accepted into Best Friends, which I am confident she will be if they are told of her plight, transport may be arranged for her to Utah from her location. PLEASE DON'T GIVE UP ON JUNIE KITTEN.

If a second opinion concurs that Junie will not see relief for a year or more then that means at least another year of licking herself bloody and being miserable. If a doctor gave me that kind of prognosis and another concurred I'm pretty sure I'd want out. :-(
